Cory Candelas, Owner & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Cory is the Director and founder of 11-10 Therapy. She has been a psychotherapist since 2011 and is certified in EMDR. Cory spent eight years working in law enforcement, is an adjunct professor of Behavioral Science at California Baptist University. She supervises associates working toward their licensures. 
Cory’s extensive experience in trauma processing and couple’s work has helped many individuals, couples, and families improve functioning, increase relational satisfaction, and help clients to be “present” in their own lives. 
Cory’s unique vocational experience qualifies her to contract for The Counseling Team International (TCTI) as a therapist and instructor for first responders, which is the heart of 11-10 Therapy.
Jayleen Bazua, Associate Therapist

         Jayleen Bazua, AMFT #142424, APCC #15006

Jayleen is a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist with a trauma-informed approach. She is deeply committed to creating a safe space where her clients can share their experiences. Jayleen is passionate about helping people who are facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, trauma, or conflict. She finds it rewarding to build connections with people from all walks of life; kids, teens, adults.

Jayleen is here for her clients to listen, understand their unique experiences, and help them find the healing and growth they deserve.

She uses various techniques to help clients, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She is trained in Prepare and Enrich to assist couples in counseling. And if you’re interested in a faith-based approach, Jayleen is also happy to incorporate that into sessions.

Above all, her clients well-being is Jayleen’s top priority and compassion, empathy, and support are always offered as her clients work toward healing and growth.

Kiara Hernandez, Associate Therapist

Kiara finds fulfillment in supporting individuals, couples, and youth on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Her approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), both of which she believes hold immense potential for promoting healing and growth. Additionally, she is trained in Prepare and Enrich, for pre-marital counseling to guide couples through various stages of their relationship journey.
For clients seeking it, Kiara offers faith-based integration within counseling sessions. She firmly believes that integrating spiritual perspectives can offer valuable insights into life’s complexities and help individuals find meaning and encouragement through their faith journey.

Her experience encompasses working with individuals facing challenges such as identity struggles, stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression. She is particularly passionate about delving into attachment wounds, trauma, and symptoms stemming from nervous system dysregulation and unhealthy relationship dynamics.

Creating a safe and nurturing space where clients can freely express themselves is at the core of Kiara’s practice. She is dedicated to walking alongside you through every phase of counseling, providing hope, healing, truth, and grace. While she understands that sharing personal details can be daunting, she considers it a privilege to journey with you towards greater understanding and transformation.

Sabina DuCasse, Associate Therapist

               Sabina DuCasse, M.S., AMFT #140032

Sabina is working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California. Sabina has a background in education and ministry work. She has experience in helping people with depression, trauma, anxiety, betrayal, grief, self-worth, marriage difficulties, and life adjustments. 

Through her work, people have reclaimed joy in their lives. Her background in education facilitates connection with teaching professionals and children of all ages.

Sabina received her bachelor’s at The University of Arizona, her first Master’s at Azusa Pacific, and her second Master’s at California Baptist University.

She teaches at California Baptist University in Riverside.

Cory supervises associates working on their hours for licensures.
