Cory Candelas

Owner & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT #106895

Cory is the Director and founder of 11-10 Therapy. She has been a psychotherapist since 2011 and is certified in EMDR. Cory spent eight years working in law enforcement, is an adjunct professor of Behavioral Science at California Baptist University. She supervises associates working toward their licensures.
Cory’s extensive experience in trauma processing and couple’s work has helped many individuals, couples, and families improve functioning, increase relational satisfaction, and help clients to be “present” in their own lives.
Cory’s unique vocational experience qualifies her to contract for The Counseling Team International (TCTI) as a therapist and instructor for first responders, which is the heart of 11-10 Therapy.

Jayleen Bazua Munoz

 Jayleen is a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist with a trauma-informed approach. She is deeply committed to creating a safe space where her clients can share their experiences. Jayleen is passionate about helping people who are facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, trauma, or conflict. She finds it rewarding to build connections with people from all walks of life; kids, teens, adults.

Jayleen is here for her clients to listen, understand their unique experiences, and help them find the healing and growth they deserve.

She uses various techniques to help clients, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She is trained in Prepare and Enrich to assist couples in counseling. And if you’re interested in a faith-based approach, Jayleen is also happy to incorporate that into sessions.

Above all, her clients well-being is Jayleen’s top priority and compassion, empathy, and support are always offered as her clients work toward healing and growth.

Kiara Hernandez

Kiara finds fulfillment in supporting individuals, couples, and youth on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Her approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), both of which she believes hold immense potential for promoting healing and growth. Additionally, she is trained in Prepare and Enrich, for pre-marital counseling to guide couples through various stages of their relationship journey.

For clients seeking it, Kiara offers faith-based integration within counseling sessions. She firmly believes that integrating spiritual perspectives can offer valuable insights into life’s complexities and help individuals find meaning and encouragement through their faith journey.

Her experience encompasses working with individuals facing challenges such as identity struggles, stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression. She is particularly passionate about delving into attachment wounds, trauma, and symptoms stemming from nervous system dysregulation and unhealthy relationship dynamics.

Meghan DeVore

Meghan received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and has a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Grand Canyon University.

Sabina DuCasse

Sabina has a background in education and ministry work. She received her bachelor’s at The University of Arizona, her first Master’s at Azusa Pacific, and her second Master’s at California Baptist University.

Sabina’s background in education facilitates connection with teaching professionals and children of all ages. She has experience in helping people with depression, trauma, anxiety, betrayal, grief, self-worth, marriage difficulties, and life adjustments. 

Through Sabina’s work, people have reclaimed joy in their lives. 

Justin Packham

Justin Packham is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor serving Riverside and Southern California residents. Before pursuing the mental health professions, Justin was a certified flight instructor and lifeguard trainer for the YMCA and Red Cross. He pursued therapy as a career after life events introduced him to the benefits of therapy and the mental health field. It is his goal to walk alongside fellow aviators as well as first responders and all others he crosses paths with. Justin’s approach to counseling is psychodynamic, solution-focused and CBT-oriented, while he is also trained in EMDR for the purposes of addressing trauma and PTSD. His goal is to create an environment that fosters curiosity in order to yield understanding, and support clients in personal growth and making the next right move.

Terry Hornsby

Terry Hornsby is a retired United States Marine Corps Master Sergeant with 20 years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, he held various leadership roles, including three years as a Drill Instructor, where he mentored and trained nearly 1,700 Marines. His military service took him worldwide, with deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, the Philippines, and Japan, among other locations.

After leaving military service, Terry pursued higher education to serve in a new capacity. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University and completed a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University.

Terry specializes in working with veterans, first responders, and individuals dealing with PTSD and trauma. His therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to offer personalized, evidence-based treatment.

A father of five and a devout Christian, Terry also provides faith-based counseling for clients interested in incorporating spirituality into their healing process. He welcomes people from all belief backgrounds, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for growth and recovery.

Mckenna Johnson

Mckenna Johnson is a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a strong background in forensic psychology and a deep commitment to serving those in the justice system. A proud graduate of California Baptist University, Mckenna earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology––with a minor in Criminal Justice and a concentration in Forensics––and her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology, further specializing in forensic applications.
